PSYCHOLOGICAL TEST
It is a test of candidates imagination. It is a test of exploring a person's subconscious mind by stimulating his personality and interpreting it. The various tests conducted during the PSYCHOLOGICAL TEST includes
- THEMATIC APPRECIATION TEST (TAT)
- WORD ASSOCIATION TEST (WAT)
- SITUATION REACTION TEST (SRT)
- SELF DESCRIPTION TEST (SD)
- THEMATIC APPRECIATION TEST (TAT)
- About 12 pictures are shown to candidates in succession.
- Each slide is kept displayed for 30 seconds and 3-4 minutes time is given to write a story.
- The Story should have 3 parts:
- What led to the situation, as shown in the picture: 2-3 lines.
- What is happening at the moment or the middle part: 7-8 lines.
- What will be the final outcome or the end part: 1-2 lines.
TIPS FOR WRITING STORIES IN TAT
- Observe all the details carefully and try to retain them in your mind.
- You have to identify your self as a hero and try to choose some sort and simple name of the character. But avoid names like Ram, Sita, Gita and all.
- Hero should lead the story and other characters (if any) are just the followers of the hero.
- Do not give and heading or title to the story.
- If the picture is negative try to convert it into a positive one.
- Do not describe the picture in your story.
Sheet you get to write your story
- In the ACTION you have to write the action of the story. The action describes what the story is about.
- In the box you have to show the characters. The main character is represented as shown to your right.
